UPDATE:

I recently returned to Raglan Road on my January 2020 trip to Disney. They have changed their Shepard’s Pie recipe a bit. While many are raving about the recipe change, I was slightly disappointed. Don’t get me wrong, I still enjoyed it. But I did enjoy it a bit more before. There was less sauce on it/around and the texture was a bit different. It had a bit of a spicy taste to it now also. Again, it was still good. But I liked it, rather than loved it. Below is a picture of the updated recipe:

Raglan Road, located in Disney Springs, is another great gluten free experience. Along with delicious Irish inspired cuisine, the entertainment of Irish music and Irish step dancers is thrilling and beautiful to watch. The restaurant has a youthful and fun energy and is always a good time! We have been to the restaurant twice now and have great experiences both times. The first item I have tried on the menu is the Serious Steak. My steak came out perfectly medium-rare (just how I like it). The mashed potatoes were delicious but my favorite part was the gluten free onion rings. That’s right! I said it! GLUTEN FREE ONION RINGS! They were crispy and addictive!

On the second trip, I decided to try something a little more Irish and decided on the Shepard’s Pie . I had never tried Shepard’s pie before and was a little nervous about ordering something outside of my comfort zone. I did not regret my decision at all! It was one of the most delicious things I have eaten in a long time. Made up on ground beef and lamb and some kind of finger-licking, delicious sauce on the bottom and creamy, soft mashed potatoes on top. I could not get enough of this dish and highly recommend.

I also did have to get myself a side of gluten free onion rings 🙂 I just had to do it! And I did not regret that decision either. Both meals that I have had at this restaurant have been home runs for me. I will be returning for the food and the fun in the future.
