Took a break from a crazy, adventure-filled day in Animal Kingdom at the Nomad Lounge, a relaxing patio attached to Tiffins Restaurant filled mostly with adults looking for a “grown-up refreshment” and a little quiet respite from the wildness of the park. I sat down on a comfortable chair on the outdoor patio and was a served a deliciously fruity cocktail called the “Lamu Libation”. This drink was made with Starr African Rum, Cruzan Banana Rum, Guava Purée, with Orange, Lime, and Pineapple Juices topped with Gosling’s 151 Rum and Oh Boy! (insert Mickey Mouse voice here), was it strong! One was all I needed 🙂
Accompanying the drink I enjoyed Nomad Lounge’s churros, made naturally gluten free (so you won’t need to order them any differently), and served with a vanilla crema sauce (my favorite) and a chili-strawberry sauce. The churros were so deliciously crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. My mouth is watering and I am craving them as I write this now. They were phenomenal!

I highly recommend a stop at the Nomad Lounge during your next Disney vacation, especially if you are traveling without children. It is a great place to relax and unwind away from the crowds.
